All networks need a KU Leuven account.
Your local contact person in the department can provide one for you.

On Android, Microsoft Windows and Apple MacOS and iOS you can connect to the wifi by just logging in using your login and password. On Apple MacOS, use the SSID campusroam as authentication profile when asked for.
On Microsoft Windows, use the CAT-tool.

  • SSID: campusroam / campusroam-2.4 or eduroam / eduroam-2.4
  • Username: KU Leuven-username, followed by @kuleuven.be
    • Staff: u-number@kuleuven.be
    • Students: r-, s- or m-number@kuleuven.be
    • Visitors: cn-, g- or b-number@kuleuven.be
    • Attention: Visitors can only use the campusroam network
  • Password: the password that you use for your KU Leuven-username
  • Security: WPA2 Enterprise / Encryption: AES / Authentication: PEAP/MSCHAPv2
  • Anonymous identity: leave this blank
  • Authentication-server: radius.kuleuven.be
  • CA Certificate: USERTrust RSA Certification Authority
